Where the equatorial water of the gulf stream meets the arctic circle, amidst the Troll-mountains of the Helgeland coastline, lies Jettehuset. A place of breathtaking beauty, clear water and fresh air. Here the halibut still rules the ocean depths and the white-tailed sea eagle glides in the sky during the day and the eagle-owl owns the night.

We welcome you to discover the amazing magic of the northern lights in the winter, the shine of the midnight sun in the summer and really feel the presence of mighty nature on this unspoiled part of our planet.

Jettehuset is an old, charming traditional Nordland-house, with a stunning ocean view of the islands of Træna and Lovund. The house was named after the good hearted Jette, who lived here for many years, and it was moved three times from smaler islands cloes by, before it ended up at Sleneset.

This is an old building with a steep staircase and narrow passages, so unfortunately it is not accessible for disabled people.

The house has:

  • 8 beds in 5 bedrooms ( 3 with 2 beds and 2 with 1)

  • Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher

  • Garden facing south-west

  • Bathroom with shower, extra shower in the service building

  • Fireplace

  • Free Wi-Fi internet access

  • Beautiful ocean view room

  • Washer

  • Access to wood fired sauna

Det sjarmerende huset ligger på Sleneset i Lurøy kommune. Se kart her.

If you like to play golf it is possible at Sleneset Golfpark.

På Sleneset finnes det en Jokerbutikk som holder åpent mellom 10.00-16.30 hverdager og lørdager fra 10.00-1400.
